Electronic Warfare Operations Support Technical Head – Lincoln (LN6)

 

£Negotiable dependent upon experience 25 days annual leave Hybrid working (usually 3 days office-based)  

 

Our Electronic Warfare Operations Support (EWOS) Group is made up of 40+ electronic warfare specialists. From all manner of backgrounds, our engineers, scientists and ex-military personnel combine their experience to help our customers achieve their true operational potential, and ultimately help keep their people and platforms safe.

 

Reporting to our EWOS Group Head, your focus will be on managing and improving the EWOS engineering capability. 

 

You’ll be based at our modern Lincoln offices on Teal Park. When project classifications allow, our EWOS engineers tend to work three days in the office and two days from home, giving the best of both worlds: flexibility and collaboration.

 

 

 

How you’ll support us

 

As a driving force for both EWOS and the wider business, you’ll provide expert guidance and leadership to both managers and engineers and help oversee resource allocation to ensure that we facilitate a happy, compliant team, with the right tools and processes for the job in-hand; whether that is at bid or delivery stage.

 

You’ll set and provide governance for the Systems Engineering processes and engineering lifecycle management and promote a culture of improvement and innovation.

We’re expecting that you’ve held similar responsibility in previous engineering management roles in an Electronic Warfare environment. You’ll have strong working knowledge of engineering principles and best practices, and a track record in developing high-performing teams, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure resources are in place to deliver on bids and projects, and successfully navigating of the commercial aspects of engineering business.
