Role Summary

We're recruiting an exciting Occupational Health Nurse position to be part of our dynamic EHS team here on site at our state of the art facility in Coventry.

In this role you will provide occupational health expertise covering all our workforce. You will work closely with all employees to provide staff health care services, implementing wellness and health programs, whilst ensuring alignment with medical ethics, company policies and procedures.

Core Responsibilities

  • Identifying & preventing work related health problems
  • Promotion of healthy living & working conditions
  • Understanding the effects of work on health & safety at work
  • Provide advice & guidance on first aid management
  • Provide health screening services to employees
  • Workforce & work place monitoring of health need assessments
  • Promoting healthy lifestyle choices & proactive in improving employee's health & well being
  • Education & training to improve employee's healthy decision making
  • Risk assessments & risk management
  • Counselling and support when needed to employees


Skills, Knowledge & Abilities

  • Registration with NMC Part 1
  • Postgraduate qualification in Occupational Health
  • Evidence of up to date knowledge base of professional and specialist issues
  • Sound educational background including a good standard of numeracy and written English.
  • Knowledge and experience of working in manufacturing occupational health would be advantageous
  • An enthusiastic and inspiring role model grounded in practice.
  • Demonstrates a clear understanding of professional accountability in the scope of professional practice.
  • Innovative and adaptable, with strong leadership and management skills.
