Role Summary

The Manufacturing/Production Engineer will be required to carry out a variety of Production / Manufacturing engineering assignments and tasks to deliver the related engineering information or solution to the agreed schedule.

Core Responsibilities

Will be required to carry out a variety of Production / Manufacturing engineering assignments. Managing engineer processes, contracts and projects. This role is a manual opportunity whereby you will be using machines & samples to conduct your daily responsibilities. You will be managing projects using specific machinery and reporting this back to your hiring manager. Works closely with all associated functions to ensure final deliverable meets project, customer and business requirements. Is able and equipped to continuously seek opportunities for overall Process, Product & business improvements.

Skills, Knowledge & Responsibilities

Experience and knowledge of a combination of manufacturing technologies, engineering and manufacturing management. Understanding manufacturing processes. Electrical and mechanical knowledge, a basic understanding of electrical testing and the ability & understanding that you will be required to learn the processes of electrical & mechanical side within machinery.
Incumbent must be able to perform the essential functions of the job. Work may be performed in an office or warehouse environment. Typically requires the ability to spend 66%+ hours each work day doing the following activities: stand for extended periods of time, walk, bend, stoop, or climb. May have possible exposure to dust, and may require the ability to lift and/or push up to 50 pounds 33% - 66% of the time.
