Contract CATIA Design Engineers for Systems Installation Design

Belcan are looking for Contract Systems Installation Design Engineers for an initial 6 month contract based in Bristol to join our growing team due to an increase in projects and clients.

The Systems Installation Design Engineers will carry out Aircraft systems installation design for major world leading aerospace OEM's. This may include modifications, new definition scheme development, investigations and installations on a range of aircraft mechanical systems including fuel systems, hydraulic systems, Bleed Air and pneumatic systems.

Principle Responsibilities:

* Carry out Systems Installation Design using Catia V5

* Produce Solid model definition, 2D drawing compilation and or 3D annotation FT&A

* Supporting team leader to define approach, timescales and hours associated with tasks

Qualifications and Experience:

* Engineering HNC/HND or Apprenticeship or equivalent experience in Aeronautical, Mechanical or related Engineering discipline.

* Experienced user of Catia V5

* Knowledge or experience of mechanical systems which may include fuel systems, hydraulic systems or pneumatics systems.

* Understanding of configuration and change management

* Knowledge or experience of PLM tools including DPDS, PASS, VPM or Optegra

* Can self-check work, request assistance where required and deliver quality output

Excellent Rates dependent upon experience

Due to the nature of the work, successful applicants must meet eligibility requirements to obtain UK Security Clearance
