You will:
- Support neighbourhood community engagement activity.
- Developing communication materials for local community initiatives and events
- Support neighbourhood officers in administration of community meetings
- Attend at community engagement events to assist in the publicity of the police
- Support Volunteer role
- Work with local communities to encourage community participation in policing issues
- To engage with victim groups as directed by the neighbourhood team to provide
information on:
- crime and incidents in the local area
- local policing activities in the area
- Support office functions:
- Prepare correspondence for posting/emailing
- Photocopying/Faxing/Scanning/Filing
- Input data onto neighbourhood databases
- Ensuring intranet/notice boards are kept current and accurate
