Salary: £45,000-£50,000

Established in 2010, we provide Londoners and visitors with the opportunity to rent one of 12,300 bikes across 800 Stations and 21,000 Docking Points. From 2010 to 2017 Serco designed, built and operated the first generation of the scheme, which included the full service provision of Bike Distribution, Bike and Dock Maintenance, Contact Centre, IT, Billing & associated Finance support for the commissioning customer, Transport for London. We are now seeking a Senior Change Manager to support our successful Bike Management and Supply team.

This role will see you take responsibility for the full life cycle of all change activity on Cycle Hire, including ensuring value propositions are established, feasibility studies and business cases are in place, alongside relevant industry standard change management controls, developing, implementing and maintaining the project management infrastructure and governance, establishing and maintaining a change pipeline and change delivery roadmap with at least a 12 month horizon and managing change-related finances and leading interface with Serco finance team.

You will also manage Stakeholder and Customer engagement relating to change activity, manage change resources either directly or through matrix management as part of projects, lead the development of improvement projects across the contract to deliver tangible benefits for cost, time, H&S and quality, formulate annual budget plans for your area, for review and challenge by Finance and Managing Director, supporting the annual budgeting process, deliver to and under agreed annual budgets, supplying forecasts during the year in line with agreed timetables, appropriately raise all purchase orders for your area in line with Serco policy and in line with delegated authority levels and ensure relevant invoices are appropriately receipted.

Other responsibilities will include change project success, ensure that projects give value for money, balancing the demands of the business, the customer and suppliers, supplier management of mobile app provider, nurture a continuous improvement culture across the contract, act as Secretary of the Change Delivery and Change Approval Boards internally to Serco, to enable the Serco SMT to minimise cost and risk to the business and demonstrate commitment to upholding and representing LCHS's diversity, equal opportunity and inclusion policies in all business and customer dealings.

This role does require you to be available to carry out on call duties as part of the senior management team (this will include over weekends and night time) shared with other members of the senior management.

About You

First and foremost, you will be an experienced Project Manager, Change Manager or Programme Coordinator with experience of managing multiple projects at one time.

You will hold a Prince 2 qualification or Yellow Belt Lean practitioner (or equivalent) with a firm understanding and working knowledge of Continuous Improvement, ideally with a Yellow Belt qualification, or the desire to work towards Yellow Belt.

A background in transport, leisure, micro mobility or public sector would be very beneficial in this role.

You should be an experienced People Manager with the ability to influence amd negotiate with stakeholders at al levels, both internal and external, with excellent communication skills and experience of establishing/managing delivery teams to tight timescales and budgets
