Supply Chain Officer Inside IR35
Contract Term: 9 months – end of April ‘23
Contracting Authority: MOD JFC
Location: Hybrid - Corsham

As a Supply Chain Officer, your main responsibilities would be:
• Be responsible for Demand and Supply planning activities and Inventory optimisation within their area of responsibility through maintenance of accurate Inventory records.
• Be responsible for transactional aspects of Materiel Accounting including Pricing, Loan Management and GFE in own area of responsibility.
• Manage the creation, maintenance and production of accurate Asset and Inventory Management statistics to satisfy internal and external Account Auditing requests.
• Raising business case justification for unplanned procurement
• Manage area of responsibility with regard to financial planning and forecasting of supply chain expenditure, attending monthly Forecast of Outturn (FOO) reviews.
• Monitor and support validation of Demand and Supply information through thorough analysis and investigation.
• Responsible for maintaining data accuracy across Supply chain and Asset Management Systems through regular data cleansing
• Operate effectively across the key operational SCM areas of Inventory Management, Supplier Management, Demand Management and Performance Management. Liaise with internal and external stakeholders on stock availability, material requirements and procurement issues for the ranges of equipment they have responsibility for.
• Lead on optimising availability, cost, process and policy developments, compliance assurance, analysis and modelling.
• Support the effective management of Risk and Safety by regular reporting and reviews of supply chain
• issues.
• Be responsible for the application or development of SCM Policy and Processes.
• Establish and maintain relationships with key project stakeholders.
• Provide short-term cover for the Supply Chain Manager during periods of planned and unplanned absence.
You’ll have relevant experience in:
• Experience of working in a delivery environment at an operational level within a range of SCM disciplines within a large, complex organisation.
• Experience delivering supply chain within project management
