As an Investigative Officer you will work as part of a team and assist in criminal and other investigations and support the preparation of case papers ensuring files are completed in accordance with court and force deadlines.

You will use a range of evidence gathering techniques so experience in investigations is essential.  You will need excellent written and communication skills as you will liaise with a wide range of people.  The work is varied and interesting – your day could consist of viewing CCTV at a crime scene or carrying out research on a suspect in preparation for the interview of that individual in custody.

You will work as part of a team and your hours of work will be 37 hours with potential of this being over 7 days depending on your posting.
