Farnborough, Hampshire (1-2 days per week remote / WFH options)

Hybrid Cloud Engineer required by a thriving cutting-edge technology company providing on-premise and cloud secure by design solutions in to the Defence & Security Sector.  As a Hybrid Cloud Engineer, do you feel as comfortable running VMs in on-premise, security constrained environments as you do in spinning up environments from a hyperscale cloud provider environment? Do you appreciate that public cloud isn’t the answer to all of technologies’ questions? Are you a tinkerer able to lab and POC new technologies while also able to implement a production Windows environment? Do you want to work in an organisation working on latest technologies and incorporating solutions in an innovative way? Are you ready to learn about Secure by Design methodologies from a company working in National Security & Defence?

What you will need

• Implementation and Support experience of VMware or equivalent on-premise Infrastructure (Hypervisors, SDNs, Storage)
• Implementation and Support experience of Microsoft Windows Server infrastructure
• Creating configuration guides and implementing infrastructure from High Level and Low Level Designs
• Eligibility and willingness to undergo Security Clearance to DV Level (Developed Vetting)

Nice to have / Desirable skills

• VMware VCF 
• Hyper-V
• Networking Experience
