Role Summary
The Wafios Programme Operator sets up and operates a variety of automatic or semiautomatic machines supporting Tube Bending Functions
Core Responsibilities
Skills, Knowledge and Attributes
Education: A Secondary Certificate/High School Diploma or equivalent combination of relevant education and work experience that will allow successful performance of job expectations.
Certifications: Vocational training, apprenticeships or the equivalent experience in related field
Years Experience: 2 years of relevant experience
Skills:
Skilled in the set up and operation of automatic or semiautomatic machines
Ability to understand complex instructions including schematics blueprints, schematics, models or specifications
Experience with Wafios machining or within a Tube Bending Environment
This role will include afternoon shifts once fully trained within the working area. This will provide an enhanced hourly rate.

Core Responsibilities
- Set and Operate Wafios tube bending machinery and saw and frazing machines.
- Set and Operate jigs and fixture.
- Have the ability to read & understand engineering drawings of a high standard effectively.
- The ability to use engineering measuring equipment commensurate with the role.
- Check parts for non-conformances and visual defects.
- Work & adhere to production schedules, efficiently and in a timely manner.
- Inform Team Leader of any major problems with machines/tooling.
- Stamp route cards and conform to all relevant quality specifications.
- Undertake any training requirements commensurate with your role.
