Job Title: Management Accountant
Location: Fareham, UK

As the Management Accountant, your role is to support the Financial Controller with the preparation of monthly accounts and reporting. You will also manage the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions and escalate any issues arising from these areas.

Core Responsibilities

• Assist with preparation of monthly management accounts.
• Accruals, prepayments and journal entries.
• Manage other team members.
• Manage Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable and provide support as required.
• Completion of balance sheet reconciliations on a monthly basis.
• Provide support to annual audit process.
• Prepare monthly VAT return
• Assistance to other members of the finance team as directed by the Financial Controller

Skills & Experience

• Part Qualified or QBE is sufficient.
• Demonstrable accounting experience within a large complex organisation.
• Strong written communication and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent customer service orientation
• Good interpersonal skills

• Well-organized, detail-oriented, and ability to multi-task
