Role Summary

Lead the daily operation of quality inspection and inspectors for the assigned areas within the business

Core Responsibilities

  • Lead DLA's for Inspection areas
  • Monitor KPI's and develop improvement plans where necessary
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Manage time and attendance for Inspection areas, including arranging/approving necessary overtime
  • & annual leave
  • Support Manufacturing Review Board's (Quality Clinic's) from an Inspection perspective
  • Ability to read drawings & specifications and relate them to the product to determine conformity
  • Support the training of inspection staff and ensure that training records are maintained
  • Understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerance GD&T
  • Support the calibration process and have an understanding of calibration principles
  • Support the operator verification project

Skills, Knowledge and Attributes

Years Experience: Mininum 2 Years experience in Aerospace or 5 years with Inspection in a similar industry


1. Leadership/supervisory experience
2. Minimum of 2 years in an Aerospace Inspection role, or 5 years within inspection in a similar industry
3. Able to read and interpret engineering drawings
1. Knowledge of CAA/EASA Part 21 regulations
2. Working knowledge of SAP
3. Greenbelt certified
