Job Designation
To operate as a multi-skilled, adaptable worker to ensure maximum effectiveness and efficiency.
Job Core Responsibilities
Ensure parts are produced on a 'right first-time' basis
Ensure that any calibrated equipment used is within the date
Responsible for the timely completion of work tasks in line with Methods of Manufacture, Job Card and the logging of job progress in Single Point (Time Keeping System)
Responsible for highlighting any non-conformance to the Process Team Leader
Adhering to the requirements of the Meggitt Methods of Manufacture and Quality Procedures
Compliance with all risk assessments and company Environment, Health & Safety procedures relevant to all work activities
Reporting of all incidents, accidents and near misses as per the company's procedure and implementation of identified corrective actions
Maintain good standards of housekeeping in the designated work area(s)
Skills, Knowledge and Abilities
Must have a recognised and relevant apprenticeship and have significant previous manufacturing experience in an aircraft production environment.
Ability to work with Methods of Manufacture
Must be capable of lone working and in small teams
Knowledge of Lean manufacturing principles and techniques with a willingness to support and contribute to the Meggitt continuous improvement initiative
Self-motivated team player with good communication skills
