Role Summary
We're currently recruiting a new Customs Compliance Specialist role at our Loughborough facility. The position will provide critical support to our import/ export functions and candidates from a shipping background would be ideally suited.

Role Summary
We're currently recruiting a new Customs Compliance Specialist role at our Loughborough facility. The position will provide critical support to our import/ export functions and candidates from a shipping background would be ideally suited.
Job Core Responsibilities:
- Provides specialized expertise for Trade Compliance export and import activities, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations.
- Maintains working knowledge of all applicable export/ import regulations, providing updates to management regarding current and pending compliance regulation initiatives and legislation that may affect company business, ensuring various reports with government agencies are kept up to date as required by regulations.
- Assists with internal or external audits and assessments as directed by Trade Compliance Management.
- Participates in the creation of reports or records.
Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
- Background in a Shipping or Import/ Export role
- Knowledge and experience of import and export customs compliance regulations
- Strong organizational skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Well-organized, detail-oriented, and ability to multi-task
