Infrastructure Engineer - VMware

The Role: 

We are looking for an experienced Infrastructure Engineer with excellent communication skills to work with one of our major government clients delivering a critical project. 

This role will sit within a hosting team and will require expert knowledge of VMware products and a broad spectrum of infrastructure knowledge. 

The role will require you to be onsite 3/4 days a week in Milton Keynes. 

 Applicants must hold active SC or DV clearance. Applicants without SC or DV clearance need not apply. 

Key Skills/Experience:

• Expert knowledge of VMware products.
• Very strong knowledge/experience of a broad spectrum of infrastructure technologies to support designs and assurance. Including hardware layer, storage, clustering, high availability, backups (ideally VEEAM), monitoring.
• Experience of working within Agile projects.
• Deployment and configuration of physical infrastructure (Servers, data diodes, etc)
• VMware vSphere 7 (ESXi, vCenter and vSAN)
• VMware NSX-T Data Centre 3.x
• Windows
• Linux
• OPSWAT MetaDefender
• Creating and maintaining Low Level Designs and Build Guides.
