Senior Business Analyst - Inside IR35

Contract Term: 12 months

Location: Hybrid – Remote & 2 days per week in London

As a Senior Business Analyst your main responsibilities will be: 

• Managing a large number of external suppliers to ensure HMPO’s technical requirements are captured & understood - driving the programme / suppliers to maintain required pace & robustness for the achievement of successful implementation & transition.
• Providing subject matter expert support to the HMPO team across all programme areas (including: Discovery, Product, Technical, Security, Test, Service Management/Operations, Business Design & Work in Progress)
• Leading the production of briefing & governance papers on progress/decisions needed for HMPO senior management & stakeholders as required.
• Working closely with stakeholders to build a deep understanding of business functions & the arising needs from a policy, organisational, business process, technology, public protection and customer perspective - integrating them into your detailed design work.
• Working with other senior business analysts, business & technical architects - ensuring alignment between the discovered proposals/needs and the VMOST strategy.
• Building awareness of the organisation’s strategic goals, the drivers behind them, and how they translate into end-to-end architecture, project scopes, & their business/benefits case, understanding how they all impact on their detailed design work.

You’ll have:

• Demonstrable business analysis experience.
• A recognised Agile / Waterfall qualification & relevant experience.
• ITIL qualification.
• Experience in the decommissioning of a technical programme.
• SC Clearance is required for this role; therefore, you must be willing & eligible to go through checks.
