Our client is on the lookout for a Site Manager to join their team on an initial assignment to March 2022. responsible for provision of telecommunication services to several secure government accounts. This role will drive consistent and excellent service across this tower into the end customer in line with the relevant service levels and ensure excellent quality and manage time and cost at a Site Level.
Background and Qualifications
Reporting to the project manager, require experience as a Site Manager, Customer focussed individual with proactive approach to working, ability to work on their own initiative and as part of a team, with good communication skills. ability to understand and interpret business needs and requirements, make difficult decisions and understand any potential risks and repercussions of implementing changes.
Skill and Requirements
?? Valid SMSTS Qualification
?? Hold a CSCS Card for site manager level
?? Full clean driving licence
?? Experience of working within the telecommunication environment as a site manager
?? Full understanding of telecommunication fibre networks to include multi-mode and single mode cabling
?? Full understanding of telecommunication voice networks and BT cabling
?? understanding of telecommunication copper networks to include Cat 5e and Cat 6 cabling
?? Minimum MOD SC clearance and willing to undergo DV clearance
Optional requirements
Basic use of CAD
Basic use of Visio
BT Openreach experience
Understanding of Cisco networks
Understanding of CCTV and door entry systems running over telecom networks
Additional Information
- Applicants must have the ability to obtain Disclosure Scotland and SC Clearance, due to the nature of work.
- The applicant will be required to travel between many sites throughout the UK, but mainly located in the south of England
