Our client is on the lookout for a Data Engineer to join their team on an initial assignment to March 2022. To perform the role effectively you must be confident in testing and installing Responsible for the installation, test and commission of data and containment systems

Background and Qualifications

Require experience as a Senior Data Engineer, Customer focussed individual with proactive approach to working, ability to work on their own initiative and as part of a team, with good communication skills.

Skill and Requirements

??       ECS Datacomms Specialist card

??       Full clean driving licence

??       Datacomms Specialist apprenticeship

??       Award in Communications Cabling (such as the C&G 3666/3667)

??       S/NVQ Level 2 in Structured Cabling Systems

• Competent in the structured cabling installation of Cat5E UTP/STP, Cat6 UTP/STP & Cat6A UTP/STP within the above premises.

??       Terminate and test cables within patch panels and data outlets.

• Have the competence in tracing and fault-finding voice cables within premises.
• Ability to test voice cabling using Fluke DTX & DSX data tester. Data Cabinet, containment and general:

Additional Information

• Applicants must have the ability to obtain Disclosure Scotland and SC Clearance, due to the nature of work.
• The applicant will be required to travel between many sites throughout the UK, but mainly located in the south of England
