The role
The difference our new BDM will make
As a Business Development Manager at Cavendish Nuclear, you'll have a role that's out of the ordinary. Your primary focus will be to generate and manage the pipeline for new opportunities withing Nuclear New Build and Advanced Nuclear Technology sector.

This will be achieved through the development of exceptional relationships at all levels within the customer organisation and wider where required (e.g. potential suppliers and partners), in order to create customer satisfaction, loyalty and increased revenue
opportunities.

You will design, develop & implement the Customer Relationship strategy as agreed with the BD Director, as well as leading the development of Capture Plans and Gate Packs (Gate 0-3) for all major opportunities identified in the pipeline.

Essential experience
• Extensive experience in pursuing and securing opportunities in the Nuclear, Renewables, Power or Oil & Gas sectors is essential
• An established network in the nuclear new build sector is highly desirable
• Proven track record in delivering new growth opportunities and shaping procurement strategy
• Knowledge of the end-to-end Business Winning process and management system but with particular emphasis on working experience of the Gate 1 to Gate 5 phase
• Practical understanding and appreciation of key components underpinning an offer (schedule, supply-chain, risk, contract terms, cost and finance models
