Role summary

As a Sourcing Specialist you will be part of the Recruitment Marketing, Brand and Sourcing team. The Sourcing Team is an important part of our go to market strategy, helping us build talent pools and pipelines for our current and future roles. Working closely with our Recruiters you will assist with building a pipeline of active and passive candidates.

You will help develop and execute tactical sourcing strategies aimed at generating candidate pipelines to meet the overall recruiting goals, from direct sourcing, building talent pools and pipelines, digital marketing and through to qualifying candidates.

The role can be based from one of our main UK sites (Guildford, Gloucester, Leeds or Manchester), however it will be predominantly home based as we embrace hybrid working, with occasional travel to an office.

What you'll be doing

Listed below are some of the typical activities undertaken, however this is not intended to be a fully comprehensive list:

  • Working closely with senior recruiters to fully understand the role requirements
  • Using varied sourcing techniques to source potential amazing candidates to join our business, including ad response, market mapping, LinkedIn sourcing and social media campaigns
  • Identify relevant market trends to map top relevant talent
  • Use social media and niche platforms to attract potential candidates using innovative and creative techniques
  • Conduct CV screening and telephone interviews referring to the hiring requirements and dealing with candidate's expectations
  • Using initiative to improve processes to ensure the candidates experience is the best it could be, partnering with the candidate care team


What we're looking for

Essential skills and experience:

  • Great communication skills and able to build strong relationships with stakeholders, candidates, recruiters and hiring managers
  • Experience in a similar role such as research or exec search
  • Attention to detail and comfortable working to agreed KPIs, SLAs
  • A team player with a flexible and supportive approach.
  • Identify relevant market trends to map top relevant talent


Desirable skills and experience:

  • Prior experience using Application Tracking Systems, Candidate Relationship Management Systems, Recruitment Marketing Systems
  • Familiar with search techniques such as Boolean search/X-ray search
  • Previous knowledge of using CV Databases, Social Media platforms, Recruitment Marketing Campaigns
  • Reporting on activity (daily/ weekly/monthly)
  • Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint.
