Quality Engineer

Belcan Workforce Solutions are currently looking for a Quality Engineer for a Defence establishment in Reading. The post is for an estimated 6 month contract and is paying competitively on an hourly basis.

Successful applicants will be required to be Security Cleared prior to appointment and must meet eligibility requirements to obtain UK Security Clearance.

The position has been deemed Outside of IR35.

Description:

Support Quality Management Team in review and preparation of Supplier LTQR documentation for use in handover.Review of Supplier documentation against contract specification requirements and standards, handover management requirements for LTQR format, and archiving and record maintenance procedures.Establish that individual Supplier LTQR packages are properly indexed, presented in both hard copy and electronically scanned versions.Confirm with Suppliers the completeness of LTQR submission against an agreed schedule.Agree with the Handover Manager documentation structure and identification numbering requirements for LTQR handover traceability.Establish in conjunction with DCC that electronic registration of LTQR documentation on Meridian is sufficient to enable traceability of LTQR documentation.Undertake detailed reviews of specific LTQR document assemblages to ensure appropriate QC "sign-off" completion.Undertake directed search of LTQR documentation to support evidencing of appropriate levels of LTQR generation and completion for specific SSC.Prepare hard copy documents packages for transfer to Corporate Memory.Support Handover, Installation and Commissioning Functions in compiling acceptable records of activities to complete SIS documentation.Progress to be reported by a monthly service delivery report to be reviewed and accepted by the Principal Quality Manager.
