The Role
The difference our new Project Planner will make:
As one of our Project Planners, you'll have a role that's out of the ordinary. Working on scheduling management independently in complex situations across P3M, preparing and maintaining integrated schedules of project and/or programme activities. This is your chance to be involved in a multidisciplinary team approach across a broad range of diverse and interesting projects UK Wide. You'll develop, implement, and maintain the Project structures, keeping all projects organised, helping to distribute the workload throughout your team. And, with our track record of innovation, you'll continually develop your knowledge and expertise.

Day-to-day, you'll be working on complex situations and can critically evaluate and adapt as required in APM competencies such as resource management, independent assurance and frameworks/methodologies.

Our highly skilled team tackles major defence, decommissioning, new build and nuclear generation projects and has won over 78% of its latest tenders. Together, we're innovating to make nuclear safer, faster and cost-effective across the nuclear energy life cycle. We're also bringing the UK closer to Net Zero, through our work with Hinkley C, Sizewell C and X Energy. As Cavendish Nuclear continues to expand, so do the possibilities.

Essential Experience
• Extensive recent and relevant experience in a similar environment/sector
• Experience applying schedule management in a complex environment
• Advanced knowledge of scheduling toolsets - Primavera/MSP etc.
• Professional qualification (APM/Acoste/RICS) (or equivalent)
• Full project lifecycle experience from bid phase through to close out
• Quantitative risk analysis experience
