Role Summary

The Pad Chocking Operative performs a range of routine assembly operations under well-defined instructions and by company policy and safety procedures.

Core Responsibilities

You will receive full training to be able to do the following:

  • Assembling large quantities of Aerospace components by company instructions and procedures
  • Follow working instructions and able to read/interpret drawings and work to tight tolerances
  • Demonstrates all safety and quality policies and procedures
  • Other responsibilities as assigned
  • Operate within all Meggitt, Health, and Safety at work Regulations.
  • Attendance of start of shift meeting with the team to understand the team's targets, any key issues/problems, and any other communications (e.g. visits, health & safety issues, etc.)
  • Detects and escalates any issues to team leaders promptly
