Role Summary
The Pad Chocking Operative performs a range of routine assembly operations under well-defined instructions and by company policy and safety procedures.
Core Responsibilities
You will receive full training to be able to do the following:
- Assembling large quantities of Aerospace components by company instructions and procedures
- Follow working instructions and able to read/interpret drawings and work to tight tolerances
- Demonstrates all safety and quality policies and procedures
- Other responsibilities as assigned
- Operate within all Meggitt, Health, and Safety at work Regulations.
- Attendance of start of shift meeting with the team to understand the team's targets, any key issues/problems, and any other communications (e.g. visits, health & safety issues, etc.)
- Detects and escalates any issues to team leaders promptly

- Ability to understand and follow specific instructions and procedures
- Good/Strong/Excellence verbal and written communication skills
- Presentation skills
- Well-organized, detail-oriented, and able to multi-task
- Ability to work independently and prioritize duties with minimal supervision, to meet deadlines
