Role Summary

Meggitt is looking for a hardworking, motivated general duties operative to join our transformation project. You will be an integral part of our team helping support the facilities and module teams move and re-lay out their areas in line with the architect's drawings and clearing of the site as we go.

Core Responsibilities

• Cleaning and preparing factory areas.
• Preparing and disposing of obsolete tooling in line with Meggitt disposal document
• Loading and unloading materials and equipment.
• Dismantle and re building of shelving and temporary structures.
• Involved in creating risk assessments for area moves in order to carry out tasks in a safe manner as agreed with EHS officer.
• Taking instruction from the facilities team and the modules managers to correctly maintain and lay out areas.
• Following instructions closely from supervisors and implementing move plans on time and safely.
• Assisting skilled tradespeople in their duties.
