Role Overview

A Training Consultant is required to work on training assignments as part of the Managed Learning Services team. The Trainer will work with the delivery teams to deliver training programs for clients on behalf of MLS. This specialist role will be required to design training products including Train the Trainer materials and online learning solutions as well as training course delivery. The role will be client facing, supporting a MLS Lead with materials development and client virtual training delivery involved.

Key Responsibilities

• ​Identify Training Needs
• Design and deliver effective, engaging and innovative Training Programs by teaching new (IT) skills and knowledge to internal and external clients
• Utilise a variety of learning methods which can include but are not limited to:
  • Prepare and Deliver Training Courses and Workshops
  • Prepare and Deliver Online Learning Solutions
  • Prepare and Deliver Training Course Materials
  • Prepare and Deliver Training Course Evaluations
• Assist Delivery Teams with training input
• Communicate all training programs on a timely basis
• Implement Training KPI's

Essential Skills

• Experience as a Trainer or Specialist
• Experience with designing and delivering effective and engaging Training Programs
• Skilled at creating content to guide and engage users, and that helps users complete tasks and transactions
• Knowledge of various training and teaching methods
• Strong communications skills with an ability to support clients towards understanding new perspectives and ways of working
• Excellent presentation skills
• Confident to work on prototypes, understanding technical parameters and restrictions

Desirable Skills

• Good Business understanding and ability to articulate in a training context
