Role Summary
The business planning sub-function integrates Demand Management, Business Planning, ERP Operations Planning, Supply Chain Planning and S&OP work streams in order to align E2E (End to End) customer demand creating a demand driven organization that aligns the supply chain to customer requirements. Driving Integrated Business Planning processes to achieve the company's Financial, Operational and Strategic goals.
Core Responsibilities
Establishing, leading and executing demand management processes that tie demand to business plans and S&OP processes
Work closely with all stakeholder businesses and functions to align E2E(end to end) business planning and deploy an effective Sales and Operation planning process to improve financial and service performance across organization
Accountable for development and execution of the Site's Master Supply Plan and Production Schedules. Balance load and capacity and inventory investments to best meet the customer plans at optimum costs
Define and deploy appropriate governance, metrics and KPIs to enable understanding of the health of the function and drive improvement in key operational parameters, such as On Time Delivery, Inventory Turns and Customer Service.
Ensure planning are leading the organizations customer OTD, inventory improvements and "zero arrears" objectives with a clearly defined and achievable production plan - continually meeting commitments to customers
Skills, Knowledge & Abilities
Results orientation - drives change across the enterprise to deliver measurable results.
Minimum 10 years demonstrated experience deploying demand management processes and the execution of S&OP and its relationship to inventory management strategies and ERP system enablers
Leadership - strategic thinker able to convert transformative ideas to practical solutions that deliver sustainable results, leading without direct authority.
Ability to influence others up to Executive level - capable of informing, convincing, and persuading others to action on key initiatives across a matrix organization.
Strong understanding of Planning processes and their application
Positive and engaging leader. Able to convey a vision of the future across the whole organisation, across functional boundaries.
