Overview:

Due to growth across our portfolio of products and services, we have several opportunities for Data Analysts at various levels in the UK Region to support a number of key programmes including Hawk, Typhoon & the 6^th Generation fighter Tempest. As an IM&T Data Analyst within the Air Sector, you will have the opportunity to get involved in a broad range of business-critical programmes & services presenting you with an ideal opportunity to further your career.

Air IM&T is ideally placed to influence current and future product delivery whilst driving business transformation, implementing new processes and where appropriate harnessing emergent technologies to maximise the success of the programmes we support. If successful, you will play a digital role in delivering essential expertise related to core IM&T activities supporting the programmes and services using recognised methodologies and deliver to time, cost, and quality.

These roles present a unique opportunity to get on-board and be part of the next chapter of IM&T within the Air Sector giving you key exposure to some of the globes biggest Air Sector Defence programmes.

Business analysts act as the interface to gather information, document processes, and confirm the final documents with the users. They perform detailed requirements analysis, documenting processes, and performing some user acceptance testing. Business Analysts have an analytical way of thinking and are able to explain difficult concepts to non-technical users.

Responsibilities:

Evaluating business processes, anticipating requirements, uncovering areas for improvement, and developing and implementing solutions Performing requirements analysis Prioritizing initiatives and ensuring solutions meet business needs and requirements Performing user acceptance testing Serving as a liaison between stakeholders and users It will advantage if you have Industry experience in Engineering, Defence, Manufacturing Currently, there are a number of projects you can work on: IT Transformation, ERP, Security) Process Mapping – strong personality to drive this home Requirements gathering Workshops User Stories Stakeholder Management Data analysis / Data collation from multiple workstreams Waterfall / Agile

 

Essential Criteria:

Business Analyst experience (Gap Analysis, Process Mapping, Detail understanding of any requirement, User Stories, Stakeholder Management) Extensive practical knowledge of tools, techniques, processes for elicitation and management of Business Requirements is Good change management skills and ability to support & adapt to a changing environment Experience working with stakeholders to define and document as-is and to-be business processes/requirements, including facilitating workshops Problem Solver Passionate about Business Analysis and strong leadership quality

 

Desirable Criteria:

Capacity to think laterally and convey an understanding of the big picture Track record of driving projects to completion Experience across highest level stakeholder management Relevant Professional Qualification (BCS certification or any diploma in Business Analysis)
