Our marketing team strives to build awareness of the essential work we do at Serco, while directly supporting the growth of the business. We are expanding the team and looking for an experienced Content Marketing Manager as we continue to deliver vital public services to customers and communities every day.

Working closely with the Senior Marketing Manager, wider Marketing team and key stakeholders across different business units you'll develop and deliver a 'digital-first' content strategy and forward plan. You'll craft customer-focused narratives and tell a compelling story through each output. You'll utilise social media channels and perform key word research to maximise performance; establishing a consistent voice that represents our business.

This is a remote position; however, you may be required to travel throughout the UK at times.

What you'll need to do the role:

We are looking for an experienced Content Marketing Manager, who has a customer centric marketing approach, focused on creating and distributing valuable, relevant, and consistent value add content to attract and grow clearly defined audiences. You should be an experienced B2B/B2G professional, who can build positive working relationships with teams across the business, collaborating to develop and deliver an effective marketing strategy with an editorial plan that meets objectives, and balance those with customer expectations to deliver an impactful and meaningful message.

You'll have excellent copywriting skills - you'll need to develop, write, and produce premium content, and be able to measure its performance against key metrics. You'll also be competent in the principles of SEO and social media engagement strategies, which will be evidenced by sharing previous work examples.
