Working as part of the Criminal Justice and Custody branch you will provide an efficient and effective administration function for the VPC scheme within GMP as well as assist in the wider functions of VPC at Force level. You will also work with the VPC Sergeant to be the central point of reference for safeguarding referrals.

To apply for this position strong IT skills with a good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint. You will be an organised individual with good time management skills and the ability to work under own initiative as appropriate. Knowledge of the Volunteer Police Cadets scheme advantageous.

Other key skills required for this position include:

- Problem solving skills.

- Experience of software applications such as: desktop publishing, spreadsheets, graphics, word processing, databases and email.

- Experience of coordinating a function at a force level.

- Interpersonal & communication skills - able to establish and maintain close links with stakeholders at a force and national level.
