Job Title: Business Systems Analyst - Heatric
Location: Poole

About the Role

We have an exciting Business Systems Analyst position working for our market-leading division of Heatric based in Poole, Dorset. The business manufactures printed circuit heat exchangers (PCHE) primarily within the oil and gas industries but have a number of opportunities emerging within the greener markets that could have a huge impact on the energy markets.
As the Business Systems Analyst, you will be working with all Heatric departments to review the processes and systems in place to drive efficiency and productivity, providing expertise in planning and designing business Information Systems. This role will also provide support and further development of the Business applications within the Company.

Core Responsibilities

  • Work with stakeholders to understand, specify, and deliver system improvements
  • Provide 1st and 2nd line support to Business Applications and IT Systems
  • Develop visual reports, KPI scorecards, and dashboards using Power BI/Crystal Reports
  • Supporting the Systems Manager in in delivery of the business systems strategy
  • Interpret business needs and translate them into application and operational requirements
  • Document, coordinate and plan the modifications or enhancements to software products
  • Gain in depth understanding of our ERP system Access Supply Chain


Skills & Experience

  • A willingness to be hands-on in a Microsoft development environment (SQL, .NET)
  • Experience working with Microsoft technologies ( SQL Server 2008 (or newer)
  • Experience and ability to work within software development lifecycle (SDLC) processes
  • Ability to connect data sources, import data, and transform data for Business intelligence
  • Experience and knowledge of business processes and will have worked with an ERP system before
  • Some understanding of Sales, Purchasing, Manufacturing, MRP, Financials and Stock
