Role Summary:

We are currently recruiting for a Director of Programmes for our Thermal Systems division, based at our state-of-the-art facility in Ansty Park. This role will take full responsibility for all Programmes in Thermal Systems and the management of a small team of Programme Managers.

Job Core Responsibilities:

  • Provide central co-ordination across the whole business through all stage of New Product Introduction
  • Leadership and management of a small team of Programme Managers
  • Generate the overall master project plan
  • Ensures management have visibility of all programmes and associated deliverables
  • Main interface and escalation point with customer base on all project related issues
  • Commercial ownership of projects to agreed budgets, from tender preparation through to serial production
  • Support of other departments within the organization to ensure project requirements are delivered within the agreed framework
  • Managing a portfolio of customer based projects, effectively delegating throughout the organization and ensuring deliverables are met


Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:

  • Degree level qualification, ideally in a technical/ engineering field
  • Background in aerospace component manufacture essential
  • Depth of Programme Management experience on complex programmes
  • Experience working on programmes across continents - predominantly Europe & US
  • Exceptional ability to build and maintain customer relationships
  • Superb leadership skills, able to develop and manage cross-functional teams
  • Excellent problem solving skills
  • Well-organized, detail-oriented, and ability to multi-task
