The Role of a Project Manager
Your role as Project Manager is to lead/manage the project and the project team. You will be responsible for driving and overseeing the project’s delivery to ensure objectives are clearly defined and achieved within the agreed time, cost and quality constraints. You will have a key role in project governance and working with stakeholders to ensure the agreed project outputs are delivered.
Typical Role Responsibilities:

Responsible for the successful delivery of the project and ensuring the appropriate level of governance is followed
Ensure that the products required are produced to the standard of quality expected and within the specified constraints of time, quality and cost
Takes full responsibility for the definition, documentation and satisfactory completion of small to medium-scale projects
Identifies, assesses and manages risks to the success of the project
Ensures that realistic project and quality plans are prepared and maintained and provides regular and accurate reports to stakeholders as appropriate
Ensures quality reviews occur on schedule and according to procedure
Manages the change control process and ensures that project deliverables are completed within planned cost, timescale and resource budgets, and are signed off
Provides effective leadership to the project team, and takes appropriate action where team performance deviates from agreed tolerances

Technical/hands on experience is desirable
Experience dealing with external clients
Experience in business change and data centres
