• Permanent - Up to £90,000 basic + benefits
• Contract - Up to £675 p/ day (Inside IR35)

Job brief

We are looking for a Data Architect to provide hands-on support the clients enterprise architecture function.

For this role, you should have an in-depth understanding and experience of Data Architecture fundamentals. You will be analysing the current state and defining best practice and standards. This could include, but not be limited to, defining data governance, data management, data modelling, data quality management.

Ideally, you are familiar complex system design, UML, BPMN, SQL and Oracle based technologies.

Responsibilities

• Develop database solutions to store and retrieve client information
• Define and implement information systems to ensure functionality
• Perform data modelling on client datasets
• Analyse structural requirements for new software and applications
• Design conceptual and logical data models and flowcharts Improve system performance by conducting tests, troubleshooting, and integrating new elements
• Coordinate with the Enterprise Architecture function to ensure coherence and identify future needs / requirements
• Business Process Mapping

Requirements

• Proven work experience as a Data Architect, Data Scientist, Data Analyst, or similar role
• Experience defining and implementing Data Management best practice
• In-depth understanding of database structure principles
• Experience gathering and analysing system requirements
• Expertise in SQL and Oracle
• Proficiency in MS Excel
• Proven analytical skills
• Problem-solving attitude
• BSc in Computer Science or relevant in-depth subject matter experience
• Must be eligible for SC Security Clearance
