£44-55K plus extensive benefits package

 

Due to the secure nature of this work all applicants will be required to gain UK Security Clearance to at least SC level. You must have been resident in the UK for at least the last 5 years and cannot have been outside the UK for more than 28 days on any one occasion within this time.

 

To be successful in this role:

You will have demonstrable experience as a Service Transition Manager and of ITIL project management specifically within change and configuration. Service Desk and Service Management backgrounds will also be considered. Ideally, you will come from a consultancy background although this is not essential. Full training will be provided on any areas of the role that you may not be familiar with. As this role is fully remote, you must also be comfortable in a working from home environment.

 

Position summary:

Our client is looking for a Service Transition Manager to work with high profile public and commercial clients, delivering improvements to complex systems that make the everyday simpler.

You will lead, direct and be responsible for managing all aspects of the service such as scope, effort, cost, quality, resources, communications, risks, procurement, and the project deliverables.

 

Job role and responsibilities:

As a Service Transition Manager, you will plan and deliver the project/work-package to time, budget and quality in accordance with the contract and Management Frameworks. This may be across one large project or several smaller projects. As part of the service team, you will be ensuring all change and configuration requests are completed within SLA timeframes and identifying changes required to plan, gaining agreement, updating plans and implementing successfully. You will be the lead in a team of 4 working from home with various high-profile clients.
