Performance Tester

£45-60K plus extensive benefits package

Due to the secure nature of this work all applicants will be required to gain UK Security Clearance to at least SC level. You must have been resident in the UK for at least the last 5 years and cannot have been outside the UK for more than 28 days on any one occasion within this time.

To be successful in this role:

You will be a confident Performance Tester with at least 2 years of experience in a similar position. Requirements for this role include:

• Consulting skills, e.g. problem solving, for instance to understand the client’s challenges and translate this in how to assist
• Software development skills, e.g. JAVA, C# and understanding of software development best practices
• Familiar with load and performance test tools, e.g. Load Runner, Jmeter
• Knowledge of the delivery life cycle and best practice in load and performance testing
• Good understanding of the technical stacks being tested
• Must be comfortable in a working from home environment

• Participate in the Load and Performance tools evaluation
• Participate in the selection of scenarios for performance testing
• Create, execute and debug the test scenarios with data
• Lead the load and performance tool evaluation
• Lead the definition of performance testing
• Lead the creation and debugging the test scenarios with data
