£45-66K plus extensive benefits package

Due to the secure nature of this work all applicants will be required to gain UK Security Clearance to at least SC level. You must have been resident in the UK for at least the last 5 years and cannot have been outside the UK for more than 28 days on any one occasion within this time.

Position summary:

Our client is looking for Senior Agile Test Engineers to expand their existing capabilities for quality assurance and test automation within agile scrum delivery. Our client is a leader in the application of RPI and AI to successful delivery of business outcomes and you can expect early exposure to these technologies.

To be successful in this role:

You will be a confident Senior Agile Test Engineer who will be able to demonstrate experience in:

• BDD and TDD development approaches
• Working in Agile or DevOps delivery squads, controlling work using Jira
• Coaching and mentoring Scrum team peers and junior colleagues
• Behaviours necessary for high performing scrum teams;
  • Self-organising, collaborative, transparent progress reporting, early feedback, proactive in retrospectives, honest in stand-ups
• Articulating environment and data requirements
• Test Analysis, Test Case / Script Development and Test Planning & Implementation
• Comfortable in a working from home environment  

Job role and responsibilities:

As a Senior Agile Test Engineer, you will be involved in setting high level strategies and approaches for quality assurance or automation and enabling scrum teams to implement these successfully. Responsibilities for this working from home role include:

• Joining high profile agile programmes in both the private and public sectors
• Running Client Demos
• Persuading and influencing stakeholders including Product Owners and Delivery Leads
• Ensuring that DOR and DOD reflect required quality levels
• Representing quality and test in Sprint Planning and estimating Reviewing user stories for testability
• Promoting Exploratory Testing Enabling scrum teams and automation service teams to balance quality with velocity and business outcomes with maximum automation
• Developing and improving your own skills through a mix of training, self-learning and collaboration with like-minded professionals through a global community of practice
