Role Summary
The Production Lead oversees the production area in various complex mechanical and electromechanical assembly operations per company policy and safety procedures. Ensures an effective and accurate production line that minimises costs and aligns with the unit objectives.

Skills, Knowledge and Abilities
Education : A Secondary Certificate/High School Diploma or equivalent combination of relevant education and work experience will allow successful performance of job expectations.
Certifications : Vocational training, apprenticeships or the equivalent experience in a related field
Years' Experience : 3 years or more of relevant experience depending on the complexity level of the job

Job Core Responsibilities
- Plans, schedules and monitors the production cycle, following company instructions
- Determines staff requirements for production schedules, coordinates, monitors and trains all production staff
- Coordinates the efficient movement of production to meet area requirements
- Applies process specifications governing the production of the product within an assigned cell, records production time and quantity data at the cell
- Performs complex precision assembly underwritten, visual and verbal instruction
- Conducts Inspections of own or other associates' work to ensure correctness by a company or customer drawing
- Other responsibilities as assigned
- Regular, consistent and punctual attendance is required. May need to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and additional hours.

- Ability to analyse and determine methods and procedures
- Skilled problem-solver: Exercises judgment based on previous experience, practices and precedents to identify and solve problems that arise with little or no precedent
