Due to the secure nature of this work all applicants will be required to hold current UK Security Clearance to at least SC level.

 

To be successful in this role:

You will be an experienced Project Manager who has worked on Digital Change / Transformation projects and who has a good understanding of project or programme management methodologies, tools and techniques. Other essential requirements for this role include:

 

  • Understanding of commercial and procurement, solutions development, business change / implementation, business case development, asset allocation and knowledge management
  • AGILE methodology practical experience
  • Proven experience within Digital Change / Transformation projects Proven experience of delivering applications from initiation to project close
  • Proven track record of managing a medium or small complexity project or working as a member of a large or medium complexity project team
  • Must be comfortable in a working from home environment

Additional desirable skills for this role include:

  • PRINCE2 Practitioner
  • Agile Project Management Practitioner
  • APM Project Management Qualification
  • APM Practitioner Qualification

Job role and responsibilities:

As a Project Manager you will lead your project(s) to deliver outcomes within time, cost and quality constraints, manage and lead team members day-to-day and keep key stakeholders up to date, building and maintaining those relationships. Responsibilities for this role include:

  • Selection and application of appropriate delivery methodologies
  • Developing and drafting Business Cases/Project Documentation
  • Building project plans adhering to appropriate project principles to deliver stated objectives
  • Tracking delivery of the project and reporting
  • Identification of project risks/issues; manage mitigating actions, escalating as appropriate
  • Providing key reports and supporting effective governance/decision making
  • Ensuring effective change management processes are in place.
