Here within at AASC Linton we have a great opportunity for an experienced Catering Manager to join our team.
The operations team is at the heart of the contract success providing a large Asylum centre on behalf of UKVI at RAF Linton. The department will be responsible for the onsite support, provision of service and safeguarding of our vulnerable Service Users. Pivotal to the effective running of site, members of the department will be responsible for the establishment of cohesive and collaborative ways of working. The team is also responsible for optimising service and supporting continuous improvement across the operational workstreams.
As the Catering Manager you will be responsible provide and carry out catering services, in accordance with all relevant and current regulations, legislation and guidelines.
You will enable the catering operation to provide all services and provide guidance and support to the chefs, kitchen workers and general assistants.
You will ensure the delivery of catering and compliance of services to the establishment as per Home Office & Serco catering standards.
As part of your role you will ensure Health and Safety and Food Hygiene Regulations are strictly observed and controlled.
Be responsible for preparing and cooking varied and healthy menus for detainees to include special diets, special day and religious events.
