Our skilled team of IT Engineers carry out essential support to a secure operational network. Activities include system design, performance optimisation, fault identification and fix, 24/7 incident management, preventative/corrective maintenance,  sustainment, patch management, and both hardware and software integration. The operation is highly configured and comprises a mix of Linux and Windows devices across a number of sites.

We are looking for a Team Leader  with highly developed people skills to empathetically manage the team ensuring that we deliver services to our client with a continual focus on quality, customer satisfaction and resource optimisation in an agile operational environment.

The role requires someone who can accurately plan the project work, support the team with achievable delivery schedules and be responsible for delivering programme changes and variations whilst managing our client’s expectations. This will mean that you will have conflicting demands and you will need to maintain a view on the bigger picture.

You must have good communication skills (both orally and written) and have the ability to liaise with a variety of stakeholders and build strong working relationships with our client base and other service providers.

We will assess you against the following technical skills:

  • Experience of managing and delivering complex IT projects using agile techniques
  • A working knowledge of network infrastructure, firewalls, VMware and security

This is a permanent opportunity, and your main base will be Farnborough.  Due to the nature of the work, we are unable to offer hybrid working.  You will need to travel to meet with key stakeholders and there may an opportunity for occasional overseas travel.

It is essential that you hold DV Security Clearance. You will need to be a sole UK National and have resided in the UK for the past 10 years. You can find out more about Security Clearances on the gov.uk website.
