Do you have previous Principal Engineering and Strategic Planning experience? Are you looking to play a meaningful role in a creative environment? If so, we are searching for someone like you to join our team of experts supporting NATO!

DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES

Your daily role responsibilities with our company will be as follows:

  • Organize and engage in scoping discussions with ACT sponsors and project team members on Innovation PoW activities, elaborate work plans, and act as senior contributor to the work to be conducted. 

  • Organize coordination meetings with project teams and other internal and external NATO stakeholders. 

  • Provide technical briefings on the progress of the various work activities, making sure that work plans are followed and meet internal and external milestones. 

  • Conduct analyses of NATO documents and doctrine in the area of Data Science 

  • Elaborate high-quality technical reports and briefs on the project results 

  • Support Project Management Activities 

  • Perform other duties as required

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

If you have passion for the work described above, here are the basic qualifications we are looking for:

  • A senior profile matching the level of a principal engineer with a track record of technical and management work in the areas of Strategic Planning, Project Management, Innovation, Risk Management and NATO experience

  • A Bachelor degree at a reputable university in a related discipline with a minimum of 10 years' relevant demonstrated post-related experience

  • Extensive and demonstrated knowledge and experience in the following areas:
    o technology capability development programmes
    o delivery reports to Senior Committee and Stakeholders
    o Risk and Change Management 

  • Formal Certification in Project Management (Prince2, APM, etc)

  • Experience in supporting technical and scientific projects for large military organizations

  • Ability to apply architecture methodologies to express complex systems of systems in architectural terms and models of varying detail

  • Recognized track record in dealing with stakeholders, understanding their needs, problems, and requests and proposing
    constructive ways ahead

  • Proven ability to communicate effectively in English both in writing and orally with excellent writing and briefing skills to
    different types of audiences, including providing briefings, writing high-quality technical reports and scientific papers

  • NATO Secret Security Clearance or national equivalent
