Our client, a large government customer, are seeking an Aviation Engineer to join their team. The role is based in Bristol. The role requires SC clearance.

Requirements are scheduled to run until 14/07/2022

Rate: £450 - £550/day

IR35 STATUS: Inside IR35. Our client has indicated that they intend to operate the engagement as Inside IR35. Candidates would be required to operate through an umbrella company on this engagement. The rates above represent rate payable to the umbrella co.

Main Responsibilities

  • Assist with the development of regulation, policy and guidance for aviation software, cyber security airworthiness and complex electronic hardware in the Programmable Elements (PE) sphere.
  • Provide certification assurance of aviation Programmable Elements (PE) aspects of UK Registered Air Systems as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in the programmable elements field.
  • Provide SME advice to airworthiness process owners on aviation Programmable Elements (PE) issues relating to Integrity Management. A focus should be given to programmable elements.
  • Researching and briefing aviation Programmable Elements (PE) issues that manifest as threats to air safety to the relevant stakeholders when requested.

Must have Certification and Aircraft Experience

Candidate Eligibility

Candidates must be eligible to work in the UK, this role will not offer Visa sponsorship. Tier 2 – General visas are cannot be accepted.
