As a Project Manager, your main responsibilities would be: 

• To deliver the Defence Synthetics Ecosystem Platform (DSEP) capability, comprising a synthetic Platform as a Service (PaaS) hosted on MOD accredited Cloud infrastructure (OS and Secret) and in turn two Software as a Service (SaaS) Synthetic Environment use cases
• Management and Delivery of plans to ensure all necessary preparation and execution tasks and dependencies are included
• Identify and mitigate potential risks for delivery of DSEP capabilities
• Operate as a full member of the team; supporting the Programme Director and other team members as directed
• Project manage all aspects of specific work packages
• Work with Stakeholders to ensure design, delivery, technical build; testing requirements etc are managed and delivered
• Develop stakeholder communication and management plans
• Write Business Case with responsibility for coordination and development of overall business case and Strategic Case
• Management of the business case team needed to form the 5-case model

Essential experience in:

• A valid and active SC Clearance
• Experience as a Project Manager in a similar organisation working on ICT Projects
• Have a valid Association of Project Management (APM) Project Management Qualification (PMQ) or equivalent
• Have sufficient experience of dealing with remote groups of stakeholders and managing expectations and communications between disparate groups
• Demonstrate IT Literacy with experience using project management tools and applications such as EPM, ARM, ADAM
• Experience of working with information data sets, modelling and simulation or similar related projects
• Sufficient experience liaising with industry partners
• Prove an ability to gather, analyse and present accurate, consistent messages to senior management boards
• Agile experience

Desirable Qualifications/Skills:

• Experience working within the Defence environment
• Experience of working on delivery of ICT projects in the MOD
• Knowledge of the MOD approvals process in the delivery of Projects
