G-cloud Platform Engineer (google cloud, GCP) - 3 - 6 months - SC CLeared project - £600 - £700 per day - remote while covid restrictions in place, then possibly 2 days in Leatherhead, Surrey - 3 remote

The role offers fantastic opportunities to work on leading edge and bespoke technologies within an interesting and highly rewarding environment.

Responsibility

* Integrating Open Source Communications Software (Matrix) into client environment
* Writing High and Low Level design documentation
* Ensuring The Solution is Scalable and Secure, and deployable through existing CI/CD pipelines using IaC.
* Deliver Proof of Concepts for Solutions on Cloud

Mandatory Requirements:
* Extensive Google Cloud (GCP) and Kubernetes experience
* Demonstrable experience designing secure cloud solutions
* Knowledge of Application Monitoring using Google Stackdriver
* Experience of using IaaC to deploy cloud resources (Terraform/Cloud Deployment Manager)
* Experience of using Linux as a deployment platform and day-to-day development environment - e.g. has experience of package management, networking configuration etc.
* Able to write, review and assure technical documentation such as HLDs, LLDs, user guides, release notes etc.
* Experience with infrastructure configuration management tools such as Terraform, Puppet and Chef.
* Proficient in a modern scripting language (preferably Python) for automation of build tasks.
* Experience working within an Agile environment
Desirable
* IM/VOIP/VC protocols
* Mobile Notifications
* GCP Professional Certification
* Application Monitoring experience: AppDynamics, Dynatrace etc
* SSH Cryptography and TLS
