Asite is a fast-growing, disruptive Top Tech company and we are looking for an experienced cloud engineer to work with our engineering team to develop, implement, optimise, and maintain cloud-based infrastructure and platform. You will be responsible for deploying and debugging application/cloud stacks, educating teams on new cloud initiatives, and ensuring the security of the cloud infrastructure.

You should be able to identify the most optimal cloud-based solutions and maintain cloud infrastructures following best practices and company security policies. You should have excellent troubleshooting skills, stay current with industry standards and trends, and should be a team player.

Requirements

  • 4 to 5 years of experience in Cloud Operations
  • Professional experience with Monitoring and alerting the production system
  • Proven comfort with Linux operating system
  • Experience in deploying and maintaining cloud-based systems such as AWS and Azure
  • Should know about different databases like MariaDB and MSSQL
  • Proficient with NoSQL DB like Apache Solr and MongoDB
  • Proven comfort with web servers such as Apache, NGINX, etc
  • Experience with scripting languages: Shell, Python, PowerShell
  • Should have exposure and experience in Privileged Access Management solution/software
  • Experience in Information Security monitoring and implementation
  • Ability to obtain (without restrictions) Security Clearance to at least SC level

Optional:

  • Experience with CI/CD tools: Jenkins
  • Experience in cloud automation using tools such as Ansible.
  • Proficient in Version Control Systems.
  • Should know Docker container system and container orchestration system Kubernetes.
  • Experience with working on UK Gov projects
