Third Line Support Engineer 
Location – Northwood - Full time, permanent position
Salary - £38k per annum + benefits

Are you an experienced support Engineer?
Can you work in a 3rd line capacity within a dynamic customer environment?
Our customer is looking for an experienced 3rd Line Support Engineer to work onsite, core hours, Monday to Friday within a small embedded team.

We are looking for a 3rd Line On-Site Engineer to join a small embedded team on a secure customer site. Your role will involve, in-depth fault finding and rectification within a secure environment. There may be an element of on call cover in the future.

Your experience & responsibilities include (but are not limited too):
3rd line support of - 
Windows Server with Active Directory experience and Exchange Knowledge of user and client management in Active Directory and Exchange mail flow
Microsoft Windows Client - How to support a client on a Domain
CISCO Routers and Switches - Command line experience, be able to run basic CISCO commands and have a base understanding of the configuration.
Firewall awareness - Principles of the functionality of a firewall.
Unix experience - Unix experience is essential, preferably with Solaris as most work is on this platform.
Backup and restore - A good understanding of disaster recovery and data loss prevention.
Must be able to fit into an unusual role - You must be happy to work alone as well as part of the team. You must be able to fault find effectively without jumping to conclusions which could make the fault worse. You must be happy to ask for help when necessary rather than struggle with a fault and possibly make it worse.Third Line Support Engineer
