• The contract is 1 day on site per fortnight in Bristol and the rest remote

WHO WE ARE?

We are recruiting a contract SC cleared Lead DevOps Engineer to work with rapidly growing consultancy in Bristol.

WHAT WILL THE LEAD DEVOPS ENGINEER BE DOING?

As a contract Lead DevOps Engineer, you will be working on a range of R&D, PoC and cutting edge cloud native projects. You will be involved in the design and architecture of AWS & Azure cloud infrastructures that can scale for production applications.

WE NEED THE LEAD DEVOPS ENGINEER TO HAVE….

• Current SC clearance (DV clearance can also be transferred and used)
• AWS & Azure cloud architecture – designing scalable AWS & Azure cloud platforms
• Azure architecture and design including Applications Service, Application Gateway and Storage Accounts
• AWS technologies such as S3, Load Balancers and RDS.
• Containerisation using Docker and Kubernetes
• Terraform / Ansible . Bash Scripting and PowerShell
• It would also be desirable to understand Azure on-premise stack hub, general networking including VPN & gateways and monitoring and logging tools like Grafana, Splunk and Prometheus
