Here at Babcock International we're looking to recruit a Project Manager on a six month fixed term contract, to join our Vehicle Engineering division. This business produce market-leading, specialist capability vehicles for the Emergency Services and Armed Forces.

Who we are looking for?
We are seeking an experienced project management professional, ideally with a background in the automotive, or similar production engineering environment. You will be well-organised, comfortable working to multiple deadlines, and able to forge close working relationships with clients, colleagues and suppliers.

What will you be doing?
You will be responsible for planning, executing, and finalising projects according to strict deadlines and within budget. This includes acquiring resources and managing the efforts of team members and third-party contractors or consultants in order to deliver projects according to plan.
Further responsibilities include:
• Assist with programme governance and stakeholder communication
• Plan and schedule project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools
• Identify and resolve issues and conflicts within Projects and recommend appropriate solutions.
• Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, Implementation documentation, and presentations.
• Evolve client relationships with MPS

The experience you'll bring
It is desirable that you hold a qualification in project management or equivalent.

You will also have proven experience in the following duties, within the Engineering sector:
• People Management
• Strategic Planning
• Risk Management
• Change Management
• P&L Management
