Salary: £10.03 per hour

Part time - 20 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

Day shift pattern is any shift between the hours of 6am to 3pm
Back shift pattern is any shift between the hours of 3pm to 10pm


**Please bear in mind, in this role there may be a requirement to work within Covid19 treatment areas, including wards. You will have the appropriate equipment and PPE to carry out your duties in this environment safely**

Across Wishaw General Hospital, we provide a variety of soft services including catering, cleaning and portering. Working as a domestic assistant here means you'll play a critical role in keeping the Hospital running and open.

You will provide a high quality domestic cleaning service to patients, staff and visitor at Wishaw General Hospital. The department maintain standards of cleanliness in allocated areas within the hospital including the wards, departments and non-clinical areas. Some of these duties will include emptying, disposing and replacing domestic waste as directed and ensure that waste is disposed of correctly. Throughout this you'll make sure all tasks are completed within agreed timescales and to health and safety standards.

You'll never go out unprepared though - as well as ongoing career development, all our team receive the training, tools, uniform and vehicles they need to work in this unique and important environment.

About you
You'll be customer focused with good communication skills and a flexible attitude to working times and methods. You will also require a good working knowledge of Seco and NHSL working practices and procedures whilst adhering to Health and Saferty requirements
