The Role of a Project Manager
The role of Project Manager will be critical in helping Ramsey achieve its ambitions. Our Project Managers will be able to manage multiple smaller initiatives or concentrate on a single larger project. They are entrepreneurial in spirit often working their way into Project management from other technology disciplines like Business Analysis. A skill they may still use to ensure Projects are delivered smoothly and on time.
- Establishing the project team and adhere to project governance cadence and escalation routes
- Managing time, cost and quality constraints as laid out in the approved Business Case
- Using project management tools and techniques to ensure a positive and successful outcome
- Manage a varied group of internal and external stakeholders
- Direct activities of all Ramsay resources assigned to the project
- Own and manage the Project plan and RAIDs
- Develop realistic project plan in conjunction with supplier(s)
- Develop appropriate deployment approach/sequence for multiple sites (located throughout England) in conjunction with operational sponsors, and in alignment to other change programmes
- Manage dependencies on any shared resource teams, e.g. infrastructure, integration as required
Essential Criteria
- Previous experience of using a PPM Tool or equivalent project management tools
- Excellent planning, communication, and organisation skills.
- Involved in end-to-end Project life cycle
- Experience in Delivering Projects into multiple sites at once
Desirable Criteria
- Significant experience in the delivery of complex, multi-£m business system projects from initiation to project closure.
- Experience in Business Analysis
